I have stored the image of Win XP in my PC as a ISO file. I want to make a bootable cd out of this image.

But the problem is that this image is not made from bootable CD.

Can anybody help in making this image a bootable CD.

I am using Nero 8.

I know how to make a bootable XP CD... but i think making an XP bootable CD is not possible if u have made an ISO from a non bootable XP cd...

Are you sure that the xp image is non-bootable, better open this image using magic iso, it will show whether this image is bootable or not.
If this is non-bootable, then you can make it bootable in this way:
1. download this boot image file (a 2kb boot file, which i will attach if required)
2. Open your non-bootable image in magic ISO. Next go to Tools>Load Boot Image...> select From Bootable Image File and open the boot image file
3. Now your xp ISO image will be bootable, just save the image and you are good to do.

As always you can check whether it is bootable or not just by opening it in magic ISO :)

Use nLite. Just load copy the contents of the .iso into a folder & load the folder in nLite. Don't change anything until the last page & then burn it to another bootable .iso.
