Making video dvd from .vob without reencoding

I converted some xvid files to .vob using xilisoft video converter and want to make a video dvd with this .vob file without encoding again because it is already in dvd format , few years back i used nero vision for this but now i need a freeware ,

i have tried with convertxtodvd and xilisoft dvd creator both try to reencode the vob , is there a freeware like nero vision which can just add the required .ifo , .bup etc files to this .vob so that it can be burned to dvd without encoding?

Thats a almost 10 years old thread, the links are dead and it requires too much work , i need something where i just import the .vob and it converts it to VIDEO_TS folder.

Here are some short steps:
1. Fire up nero express
2. select DVD-Video Files under Video/Pictures
3. Next add the vod files, and burn to a dvd,
Thats it

Alternately you can use nero vision, for easily creating the video DVD

AFAIK convertxtodvd directly converts vob files and write em to dvd without encoding.
Infact im sure cause i used to do it all the time. Check again...

I tried again and it started reencoding again

Yea there was something wrong with the vob, even nero wanted to reencode it and IfoEdit method also did not work, i used xilisoft to convert the xvids to dvd instead of directly using convertxtodvd to convert the xvids to dvd format because i wanted to fit 5 700mb xvids on a single dvd , xilisoft was able to do this but messed up the .vob, convertx can only fit 4, with winavi i can easily do this but dont have paid version now , only option now is to convert the xvids using convertx into two dvds instead of one.
