i used to report such members, who are here only for market, who have 90%+ posts in market but then i was replied with a response that 'sadly nothing can be done to prevent this' (not a rant, I understand that this cant be prevented. You ban one and they will create 2 more)
what we members can do is make sure you are not dealing with someone who has not spent time on forum outside market. Such person is least likely to care about after sales. one can be safe and stay away if they just go through profile of concerned member once before dealing. all it takes is checking of post history and 'threads created' (not just the market threads created).
5months is unacceptable imo.

I don't see what's wrong in this to be honest. The rules don't mention you need to post in specific forums. Someone might've joined TE with the sole intention of selling his products and/or buying some. There is nothing wrong in it.madnav said:

2ndly, TE does not encourage joining only for trading. Market is a section for offloading extra and/or unwanted stuff for people on forum; while joing for that sole purpose does not really make you one of the people on the forum

Lying about something, hiding facts about the product, not providing ample information, backing out of the agreed terms blah blah blah.
I concur with madnav, if a person is active in the forums it adds a certain level of trust and reliability, one can presume that the person will have a certain degree of sense of responsibility. Although things shouldn't be generalized, and there exist some exceptions and at the same time people who join specifically for just trading in the market section shouldn't be ridiculed for doing do as the members also benefit from them.
iTrader ratings are quite irrelevant as many people just give +ve ratings irrespective of how the deal was dealt with by the other person. The comments that people write should also be more informative giving an idea of how the deal went, what part was good etc. etc. rather than just writing the same thing to everyone.

time to take the courier
diwali or festive season problems , do i created those thing
just be honest with urself
as far i know
i had problems dealing with only 2-4 people only
it is always only the bill or a small accessories
in all honesty
i never intend to cheat anyone
i never lied to anyone

What about the bad sector on arrival of my 1.5TB....also no bill of the same ! You only told you sell stuffs on behalf of friends (at least 10-20 items per mnth) with some cut...so please test stuffs yourself before sending. Also why is this bill problem with almost everybody. Also come clean on if you are a dealer/ or say its a side business for you ?

May be TE should now start taking security deposits for members less than 2 years/1000 posts to post new market threads....In a week we will see around 500 members weening away as all of them are for the market !

lol I don't know I'm wrong or what....as pointed out earlier, by checking his forum posts http://www.techenclave.com/search.php?searchid=236617&pp= it seems that this is the first forum post in which he's involved, otherwise all other posts are FS and few WTB and IC.
But I don't understand one simple thing, here in this thread each and everyone reported he/her has some issue while buying from him, still only 2 negative iTrade points and 33 positive points, even feedbacks says "Smooth seller", "A+++ Seller", "Recommended Seller" words like this.
