Forum Feedback Market wtb

Hi All,
Just a suggestion/request if we can have a seperate WTB thread in the market as all the WTB threads are completely overlapping the FS posts, would make/give the forum a cleaner look...

The sub-forums that have been made are of no use if people are just going to make FS or WTB threads in the general section itself. It will be much better if the mods do not allow anyone to make such threads in the general section so that all of us make use of the subforums. And yeah Im completely in favor of making two subforums in the member market section for WTB and FS threads and there should be more sub-sections in each of these two sub-forums for better efficiency.

The present sub forums are of no use.

Barely does anyone spot a thread outside the relevant section and report it to the mods. And there are countless threads outside the sections. Moreover, when one has multiple things to be sold off which may fall under multiple categories, what could he do then?

I think FS and WTB are the only 2 sections we may need after all.

E has a very good market section. They have seperate WTB and FS section.
Then they have seperate tags like CPU,Mobo & RAM | PSU | Storage | Mobiles etc...
U click the appropriate button and the threads with the corresponding tags are listed. I found this feature very good

Yep, that's what I was suggesting in my post, if this really can be implemented, it would cut the clutter and making deals and finding the right threads will become much easier.

works great as alternative to separate WTB and FS sub-forum.

No response to this post and many other posts which were pointing out how much better search is in E market. Is it bcoz of a mention that something is better in the unmentionable forum here :no:

I guess many of the mods and admins would have at least visited E(if not a member there). Just clicking on the new thread in the market section just gives tons of prefix and template with all details that should be in market thread. The search function is so much more easier

If i want a PSU then i can just click on PSU image and voila all sale threads with PSU prefix are listed. Well if OP has loads of stuff to sell either he can start multiple threads or there can be one more prefix such as 'Lots of Stuff' or similar could be added. This would make searching in market a much better place and the template will make sure newbies dont miss anything when they start a FS thread.

+1 and it will also do away with the ridiculous bumping of threads and would prevent FS threads to be buried deep beneath within a day or two
