Rockstar have finally announced that Max Payne for Android is releasing this Thursday which is June the 14th. The iOS version had released back in April and the Android version was announced subsequently but was delayed for more than two months. The game will have similar functions as the PC version had and it has also been optimized for the Android OS to offer HD graphics as well as high-res textures, Rocksstar's Social Club connectivity and also custom controls for select USB controllers.
The supposed list of supported Android phones include, Motorola Razr, Razr Maxx, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Photon, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rezound, HTC One X, HTC One S, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung S2, Samsung Galaxy R, Sony Xperia Play, Sony Xperia S and Sony Walkman Z Series Media Player.
And the Supported Android tablets include, Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Medion Lifetab, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 / 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, Toshiba Thrive, HTC Flyer and HTC Jetstream.
The Max Payne game for Android will be available from the Google Play store for just $2.99 on June the 14th.
