I just began using Maxthon yesterday, and i must say i like it,though Fx is my baby  ,but will sure download this version.

Thanks for the update mate!

Maxthon has only one problem: if you're typing a url in maxthon and you have to quickly switch to some other app (say messenger), then when you come back to maxthon it simply loses track of what was written in the url bar ! which is unlike IE or FX.

otherwise, this browser rocks

hey i do that in firefox too :D .
Just Bookmark Techenclave.
Right click the Bookmark Techenclave -> Properties -> Type "te" in Keyword box

Now just type "te" in browser address bar and voila ;)

This can be done in other browser too i guess.

Firefox ownz !

Regards.

Updated and i noticed that it's lot more faster than it used to be...

I just love the status bar of maxthon. It shows my IP, how much of tabs are open, browsing speeds, and that 19M/23M thing (which i don't know wht it is :( ) and lots of buttons to do various tasks.

@ Grudge .. That is your Free Memory indicator ..
You can customize the Status bar by Right Clicking on the Status Bar and select Customize ..
Same way you can also customize the Menus ie which Menu you wanna show in Menu bar .. I Never use Windows Menu so I ve hidden it ..:p ..

Hmm....i dont know if this is possible in FF....But, in MAXTHON, i type "g <search term>" in the address bar (without the quotes and the search term as say TechEnclave etc.) and i can directly open the search results for the search term. Apart from this, the terms i wrote are automatically highlighted by Maxthon in diff colors so they are easier to spot. Also, the search bar Maxthon has, enables me to highlight any perticluar word, phrase etc which i type in there on the open page.
All this without any extra addons and only using inbuilt feature.
@Ferrar!

PS : No offence:p i just simply LIKE Maxthon as a browser and despite trying FF didnt like it.

And yeah .. If you set your Default Search to Google (By setting its alias as * in the Search options) you dont even have to type "G SearchTerm" .. Just type TechEnclave in the Address bar and you'll be lead to Google's results page .. Which is much better than MSN's search ..
