Hi Guyz !
You all wud have heard of Maac ! And I am sure Many of u wud have also Joined that Course in the past or Present ! So I have a Few questions Regarding it , coz I am Thinking of Joining it soon !

1. What is The Fee structure of The Alpha Maac course ?
2. How many students r there in One batch ?
3. Is It any Good ? Will I benifit from It ?

Plz Reply soon ! Any Help would be Appreciated ! :)
 
Fee structure, get it from ur nearest maac center. Number of students per batch might change from center to center. Usually, they'll fit in everyone who shows up. :P
 
Well The Nearest Centre is 10 Km From My House ! So do u expect me to go all the way just to enquire abt the Fees :P ? Anyways in Thier Site They Have mentioned that there r only 8-10 Students Per Batch !

If Anybody Knows anything abt Maac Plz post Here :) !
 
1 thing is sure that i knew ard 4 years bak...........
maya courses fees the cheapest 1 for even a year was 80k......no idea abt present scenario
 
here u go.... enquired abt all the courses at various places last week
MAAC's full time course is for 1 year which would include sketching, story boarding,3d max, Maya, after effects, combustion and post production, after which they would hel u in makin a show reel.

Total course fee tht they told me was 1.10 lacs + 12.24% taxes

Next one is Gecko, just oppsite to Maac
their course is also the same, only after the course they would give u 3 months internship in their own studio. their total fee 90k approx includin taxes

THe best of the Bunch i found was Maximus in Nehru place, although their fee is on the higher side, 1.30 lacs total includin everything, after their 1 year course you get certification from AutoDesk Canada which is globally viable
All the institutes make batches of 8 - 10 students,

As gor is it any good, the people i knew who had studied there, are saying its gone crap, only good teacher remainig is a guy called tejendra, if u get in his batch its good enough, otherwise its useless

I would say u forget abt MAAC, check up either Gecko or Maximus.
 
well Fusion Thanx alot for ur info :) but actually I am Not in Delhi ! Actually I Belong to Delhi but I am doing My engineering in bangalore ! so If I Join maac , Its goin to be in bangalore !

BTW I Just called up at the Indranagar branch and enquired abt the Fees ! The Fees for the alpha Course which includes everything like photoshop , 3d max , premier , combustion .......etc etc is 50000 plus Taxes ( for 11 months ) ! There is also the combination of Photoshop and 3D max for 40000 , duration is 6 Months ! I am Looking to Join the later One ! I am also Doing my engineering with it so it wud be a bit Hectic for me at the Moment !

Does anyone frm Bangalore have any experience with Maac ? Is it Good ? ( the indra nagar Branch )

Its unusual tht u study engg n want to pursue this side by side...
Well I did my B.E and got into 3d too.....but not while I was studying...

Well I am in computer science Eng ! I Have just got Loads of Interest in animation and all... so thats y I am Thinking of joining Maac ! :)
