CPU/Mobo MB + Processor: In need of help

Hey Guys... I am about to upgrade my system, and i am not sure of the MB + CPU i should be going for.

Well, i have a few MBs and CPUs in mind:

E4400, E6600, MSI P965 Neo2, Asus P5N-E SLI

My budget is 14K, and cannot be extended beyond that. Please do suggest which of these do i go for. If there are any other better MBs and CPUs, than the one mentioned above, within my budget, please do suggest. I would be using my system mostly for gaming and for web application development.

A graphics card won't find a place in the system right now, due to budget constraints :( ...but i definitely am going to buy one, maybe 3 months after the upgrade.

These are the peripherals, other than the MB + CPU, i have decided to go with:

ViewSonic 19" LCD
Cooler Master Extreme 600W
Kingston 1 GB DDR2 667Mhz
Seagate SATAII 200GB
Zebronics Antibiotic Cabinet

I probably won't upgrade my system for atleast 2 years, so please do suggest me a CPU + MB that would run thru these 2 years without any hitch (it should be able to handle, if not all, most of the applications/games).

Please do suggest MB + CPU, and also tell me if i have to make any changes to the configuration i have selected.

Thanks in advance.

E6600 is 12k itself.

I suggest you go with a E4300/E4400, if the difference isnt too much, and a P5N-e SLI.

It should be around 5.2k + 8.2k.

Intel E6600 wont fit in that budget.

Intel E4300 + P5N is a gud combo

It is around 5.3k & 8.5k resp.

remember ,this motherboard does not have onboard graphics so u got to buy atleast some low end gfx card

How about an AMD X2 CPU and compatable MB. I presume that the AMD X2 MotherBoards do have onboard graphics. Does the performance of an AMD X2 compare to an E6600 or a E4400. I am really keen on buying a AMD X2 4800+, but have read some reviews which suggest that C2D is better than AMD X2.

Here is a quote from the Xbit review of C2D proccesors:

I would like to say that Core 2 Duo processors have another very important advantage, which will be valued by hardware enthusiasts. All these CPUs feature pretty good overclocking potential. Even the slowest models can run at 3GHz speed with very little effort on the user’s part, which pushes their performance to the level of Core 2 Extreme and hence cannot be outpaced even by overclocked Athlon 64 X2 based platforms
