Mblaze connectivity issues

My sister appears to have bought an MTS mblaze USB net thingy, and the damn thing doesnt appear to connect

"Remote computer does not respond..."

Any idea what's wrong ?

This is in chennai btw. she's using it on a lenovo G550 running Win7 32bit
 
With the USB connector box there is a manual given, on the back of which there are some troubleshooting tips. But the easiest thing to do will be to take it to the nearest service provider.

Most of the time its a problem with the hardware. My room mate also had to get his piece replaced. Can't trust chinese modems :P

She can try reinstalling the software etc. It also asks for a network setup initially. I had just canceled that. Don't know if that might have caused an issue.

meh, turns out the buggers took a while to activate it. the problem essentially solved itself. thanks for the help
