MCA as Distance Education

My few friend did a three year course from Tata Infotech n they are in software market for 2 years.
They generally develope commercial software in VB.
But they now think to do MCA through a corespondence course.
So, what are the options for them, and pros-n-cons of different corespondence.
I would like to know specifically about corespondence course given by ICFAI.
 
Well, i don't know the exact value of correspondence MCA's. But quite a number of my working friends are doing it in IGNOU. It seems to be the best correspondence course from what i've learnt
 
There can be no MCA thru pure correspondence...its usually a contact programme whr u have to attend practicals on a regular basis..and yeah, like full time course, its too of 3 yrs. duration...i think the best distance education for MCA wud be from IGNOU, and other recognized universities..i'm doing MBA from Pondicherry University which is a very reputed university..imo, they have MCA course as well...you might like to check out Pondicherry University - A central university ...ICFAI is not recognized by AICTE for technical education..so skip it...
