Mcafee--yahoo messnger/idm/utorrent not working

I just installed Mcafee viruscan enterprise 8.5i.
everything went well n also updated till date.
Now my none of my messengers or download managers r working.:( i didnt install mcafee firewall during setup (didnt had it).
I went to virusscan console and disabled Access protection, then everythings works well.
I peeped inside it but all went bouncer.:S
help me guys...i cant disable it everytime.
 
simple remove mcafee and get in kaspersky :D . on the other hand its mainly something to do with the settings, u need to allow certain ports for utorrent and also make the program as safe or something to be able to use it.

No seriously, get eset smart security 3.0.xxx or kaspersky, they r way better than this.

No clue how fix ur current problem though, it could be blocking internet access for certain applications.. poke around.
