.mdf/iso/torrent HELP!!

um, i downloaded a torrent for final fantasy 7 (pc). i used azureus to download and that went fine. after downloading the INSTALL disc, i opened the file and i was in .mdf format with the exact same file in .mds format. i then proceeded to download isobuster and used that to extract the file to a folder. went fine. installed the game and everything. now the trouble is, i cant play using the install folder (obviously) so i did the same thing to the DISC1 folder. so my quiestion is...how can i get the computer to think that the folder is playable disc 1? do i need to use something other than isobuster or what? plz help me out,.
 
As this is your first post i assume you have'nt read the rules, we do not support warez or pirated content here, please dont tell us what you d/l or how. Do read the rules.

Now as for your query, .mdf file is alcohol cd image so best would be opening or loading it with alcohol. so basically it's a cd image which you can burn with alcohol/cd burning s/w or mount it with virtual cd emulators like alcohol/daemon tools.
 
oh, ok...sorry about the rules thing...in mind from now on

ok, well i mounted the image file (.mds) with the daemon s/w, but i still get the same "insert disc" error
