Me thinking of getting this

is it an Asus cooler? i have a similar cooler.. Thermaltake's Tower112.. compare the dimensions of this Asus one with the Tower112..

Tower112 costs around 3800 bucks with PrimeABGB and comes WITHOUT any fans.. u can add 80 or 92mm fans.. 2 of them ;)

Tower112 is good enough for me.. My CPU doesnt go over 50C these days (used to get 70C in similar conditions on stock cooler).. a couple of months back when the ambient temps were a li'l lower, the Full Load temps never crossed 45C.. Full load doesnt exceed in excess of 15C from the ambient temp..
 
well.. for 1900 bucks it looks like a steal.. but i remember reading the reviews for gigabyte at toms.. and it was a OK performer.. u cant expecting gr8 things from it that u dont already get from ur stock cooler
 
ASUS i dont know.... Gigabyte its the rocket i beleive... For around 1900 bucks last time i checked... Will let you know by tuesday...
 
Thats the Asus StarIce. Its overweight and bad! Get something lighter and better. Even the thermaltakes will be better than that one! If you cant find anything else, get the gigabyte rocket pro.
