I created a thread before but now that one is not applicable as the things are going abit different way.
I own Logitech g413 carbon. they key-cap quality sucks! big time!

Need to replace this one. What should I buy. is it worth spending more than 10k on a mechanical keyboard ?

I have no experience with other mechanical gaming keyboards.

Primary use is gaming and writing.

How are below if I think of buying them ?

1) GALAX XANOVA Magnetar RGB Cherry MX RGB Red Switches
2) HyperX Alloy FPS RGB Kailh Switches
3) Ducky One Backlit - is this one rgb or only single color ?
4) Ducky Shine 7 BlackOut Edition
5) Ducky Shine 7
6) HyperX Alloy Origins
7) Ducky One 2 RGB
8) Ducky One 2 Phantom - this one is not backlit i think so may be out of question for me as I need backlit when using in dark room at night !
9) Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Rapidfire Cherry MX Low Profile Speed Switches - if I am not wrong then I think that this keyboard was under 10k last year. don't know what's with 3k to 4k price hike :rolleyes:

requirement is simple.
1) show be better then the current g413.
2) sound or feel near or better to g413 is ok. not a fan of loud keystrokes :angelic:
3) if possible pam rest but then again can i get one from after market and use it as only the galax one have that as a offering !
4) Price should justify the service, experience and other common stuff !
5) If key goes bad, easy to fix locally or by self. g413 is hard to do so...

as I said, No idea on what is the quality of Cherry MX switchs so please guide me here.

Watch out for the Ducky ones. Lots of complaints about them over on r/mkindia. They seem to be having QA issues.
 
You should consider a GMMK prebuilt TKL keyboard for 10-11k. It has hotswap capability so you can change switches too as you please later on

None of these keyboards are worth their asking price currently, it's not worth paying the equivalent of more than $100 for the ones with Cherry MX, Gateron or Kailh switches IMO.
Personally I think it's best if you can source one from the US.
Meckeys will be getting the GK61 and RK budget mech keyboards in stock by December, it's better to wait and buy one of those instead of overpaying for any of these.
I picked up one of these from a store a week ago as a temp kb, not too bad for the 2400 I paid for it.

Which store did you buy it from? If it's online, can you provide a link please?
 
do we have anything from newegg that can be ordered ? or a link which I can share with my USA friend show that he can purchase and ship it to me in person ...

I am looking for a full size keyboard itself. I saw somewhere logitech 512 at 7k so if nothing is available, should I got for it the ?

Switch one I suppose. I show it somewhere but now its showing Rs.8.3k at lease on mdcomputer for GX blue keys. is the GX Blue worth it ?

the later one is expensive but at least it have a Pam rest :joycat:

I am not able to find that offer :banghead: what price it is showing now is 8.3k and then the rest one is from XPG which is 8k to 9k with Cherry MX blue and Cherry MX speed.

Logitech g512 @7k
 
I own a G512 Romer-G Tactile and its key caps suck which come off easily and i am done with logitech. Both my G502 hero mouse (double-clicks) and G512 keyboard (some keys stopped working) just after year mark are/will be replaced under warranty (waiting for keyboard since 3 weeks since they don't have RomerG Tactile version i bought and yesterday they asked to replace with GX Blue which i have denied). The body and finish of G512 is solid and heavy and looks great and both RomerG versions have proper RGB implementation with the characters backlit in center whereas in GX Blue the backlight in on top of keycap and it looks weird. I bought mine for these reasons. But Logitech quality control has gone down the drain past few years and shows when they don't even ask questions and just replace under warranty. I also chose this as it seems to be one of the cheapest mechanical keyboards but i should have gone with HyperX Alloy which had similar pricing iirc.

My Logitech g403 mouse is working great then my g413 which is a year older than that
Yesterday found the aurous k9 and it’s interesting for the price. I think we can also remove the key and key cap. So replacing them should. It be an issue. Custom build is something I can’t wait for. So just asking if I should get the K9 or anything else ...
