There is absolutely nothing wrong with these .Frankly, the sound reproduction is astonishing for the price. they have this "mainstream warm bassy sound signanture which is instantly likeable..
With every iem, you have that first impression when you put them in your ears. sometimes you love the sound , sometimes you hate it due to sibilance , brightness etc... When i first heard the gr02, i was simply blown away. The bass is punchy , impact full with precision and control, something that lacks in iems in this price range. Joker is right, there are very few phones in this price range that do bass so well...i was quite amazed . The bass seems to have an airy feel to it, the impact gives the feeling like you are in a club with bass drums all around you . NO i am am not exaggerating here , its just that the bass impact and punch are that good on these. i wouldn't hype anything up but its hard not to on these...

Midrange is smooth, crisp , and detailed . Neither recessed nor forward. Its just placed right in centre where it should be .. if you are coming from a low end iem, you would hear every micro detail in the music .

Treble took me for a surprise...Again , very few iems in this price range have such a well extended treble .No sibilance or harshness whatsoever.

comparing with m2- M2 even though is priced higher, there's something quite not right about it....its a placement or positional issue..it dosen't throw out sonic cues pin pointing which part of the room a particular instrument is placed in...... it sounds small as in music playing in a cramped congested room. . there's no sense of space ....i have discussed this with esanthosh a couple of times too...
in terms of bass response, m2 has a similar soft bass impact like the gr02 but its not quite as airy as gr02. midrange clarity seems a tad better on the m2 but the lack of soundstage depth kills the listening pleasure(at least for me) . separation is better on the gr02 . Again i prefer the GR02 more than my m2's .

comparison with soundmagic e10--- GR02 sounds more balanced with much better treble response.... e10 's midrange sounds recessed......bass impact wise-the e10 has a better sub bass response, GR02 has a mid bass emphasis which gives that "in da club" kinda feeling...i would rate gr02 a tier above e10 for sure

NOW, The reason why i am selling these has nothing to do with sQ. The thing is - i listen to music late night when i am in bed. Gr02's housing seems to protrude out of my ear , so i cant sleep on them sideways. it hurts my ear. Never the less , these are fantastic iem's . a must buy in the 2.5k category. i am surprised why people aren't snatching these up?they are crazy value

^^VSonic GR02 BE is the best IEM at this budget, no other IEM can touch this IEM at this price bracket or even slightly more than this price. This is the only reason it has been given as 10/10 value score rating by joker :)

We are getting GR06 in the next shipment

Same goes for the GR99 whereas GR99 has more emphasis on the sub-bass region

Ordered the GR02 and transferred the money successfully to HiFiNage, I was tempted to order from lendmeurears in the morning, but just to avoid the waiting time and also felt better to have somebody in case of any support went ahead with HifiNage. It will probably be worth the few hundreds extra, thanks a lot Abhishek.

Will let you guys know about the GR02 after I get and use it. I'm currently changing from a brainwavz M2, which failed me on an ear recently.

When i last asked you said it would be available in next 10 days , you betrayed me :lol:

Yes that is because One FM has ordered one GR02 BE but did not paid for the order. Hence it was not available that time.

As he did not paid for the order so it is available today :)

We still have one more GR02 BE in stock but we keep it for RMA purpose because we don't want that our customers wait for the month to get the replacement. They will get the replacement in 2 days max depending on the stock we keep for the RMA.

We hope you understand :)

Just received the GR02 from hifinage, wonderful personalized service.. I must say I was very much satisfied with the transaction..

Can anybody tell me or direct me towards burnin time/ guide for this beast.

Can anybody tell me or direct me towards burnin time/ guide for this beast.

My formula for burning my IEM's (I have owned BRAINWAVZ v2 M1, VSONIC GR 02 Bass edition, SoundMAGIC PL-30, JVC HF-34 "Marshmallows") is as follows --
  • Plug them into my Sansa Clip+ (RockBOX-ed);
  • Start with a playlist I enjoy, moderate volume ~30dB and below;
  • play for ~2 -->4 hours, switch off the player, restart in an hour and increase the volume a little ~25dB -->30ddB. Listen / Burn the IEM till battery drains;
  • keep the above cycle till about ~50 hours (do not exceed volume levels more than ~21dB) of usage.
  • Now my ears are more OR less tuned to the IEM I was burning-in and I can observe for any discrepancies, differences in the sound signature with other IEM's I have already listened too.
  • I found the GR 02 very good out of the box and the burn-in has not changed anything dramatically for my ears.
I do not use the pink-noise, white-noise passes simply because that means I cannot use the IEM and my Sansa Clip+ (my only source for now). Also, I do not know the veracity of such passes.

Hope this helps and happy listening, Cheerio!

Just keep playing whatever you normally listen to, really don't think there's any need to over complicate things. Enjoy it out of the box! Are these balanced or dynamic drivers?

Thank you for your kind words.

Do not think of burn-in. Just keep listening them. :)

Haven't read up much on the Vsonic iems. Don't they have a balanced one as well? Think I remember trying one of those.
