PC Peripherals Memory Problem

OCZ 3X1GB DDR3 1600MHz OCZ3X1600LV3GK -:

Speed DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Type 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Timing 8-8-8-24

CAS Latency 8

Voltage 1.65V

Is this memory supported by either of these motherboards (with core i7 920) ?

ASUS P6T Deluxe OC Palm

ASUS Rampage 2 Extreme

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 SATA 500GB Hard Drive or to buy WD hdd...instead this.. seagate has many problems..as i read on many sites..

if WD 500gb...
is cavier black is available..???
what is cost.... which model???

and

in 2 x 2GB Transcend 800MHz stick for dual channel.. normal 2 single sticks will do... or 2 *2 4gb kit required for dual channel mode...
please rectify me..

The WD Caviar Black is available through Amarbir (Lynx).

2*2GB will work as long as the sticks are matched.

I hope you've been rectified.

hello :)

memory from 2 different manufacturers with different timings and sizes is asking for trouble/instability on a core i7 platform.

stick to a single manufacturer and the same sizes and timings for best results.
