I recently got the P910i Mobile from a Sony Exclusive Showroom in Chandigarh. I want to get a 1 GB Memory Stick for this phone. The Sony Dealer gave me a quote of 8000 Rs for the the Memory. I know that its not that costly. Does any one know the correct price for this?

If i am not mistaken p910i uses memory stick duo pro. Eddy reported of them being sold for 5.5k for 1Gb.
 
i got memory stick duo pro for 4.75k in mumbai...i guess it will b cheaper than that now...atlest till 4.5k now
 
latest price for the memory stick pro duo , yea the "duo" ;) , ( i goofed up last time ) is Rs 3800 for 1 GB at Vashi , Navi Mumbai .
 
Yup its pretty cheap now. I got quoted 4000.

Bargaining's there too after that. So i can say 3700 at most.

WTH ! thats pretty cheap !! :O Sony or some other brand ?
 
Well, if it is Sandisk or some good company, I would still go for the plunge. But I would not trust any local company.

also which company one???also sandisk one are good and offer mor space than sony 1gb one.....
 
I have a SANDISK ULTRA2 HIGH SPEED 1gb memory stick lying with me...got it but my phone got stolen before my mem stick was even delivered :(

You should know that this ultra2 is about 3x faster than normal memory sticks, so if youre interested we can discuss this...
