Memtest weird symbols

I recently had some blue screen problems so decided to check the rams with memtest 86. Now during the test i got some weird character display. Something like this images http://imgur.com/kWVjw

Even MemTest uses some RAM. If that RAM is spoilt, then you might get such symbols. Swap the stick in your first slot, with another one and try again.

This might be Video RAM Corruption too. Do you get such artefacts in BIOS/Windows also??
