In 50-60 years, definitely can be built if we accept Murphy's Law as gospel.
It doesn't apply to mechanical devices. Something miraculous has to be discovered/invented to make such a machine. The weight of such a robot would be humongous just to be supported on two legs, let alone have it perform various human-like actions. And have it transform too?

Never say never, but this looks like a distant possibility. Mechanical restrictions such as this are hard to overcome.

I still have hope that the next generation engineers will be brilliant. With more people going for research, hopefully they will figure something out.

The engineering comes later. They need to find/create a material that will be able to take all the stresses, be reasonably elastic, and still be extremely lightweight. The best we can expect is smaller transformers bots, or a very small scale model of the larger ones.

Not necessary. Remember the first computer that was as big as a house. So at least someone can come up with a proof of concept and then others can improve on it.

It took a decade of research to build the below

Computers are different than mechanical devices when it comes to scaling. When you want to build life sized transformers a lot of mechanical impossibilities come into picture, not to mention the power required to make such a machine work.

Even the video you posted is a 1:12 scale model, and just a toy. See how it tries to walk and turn? Very awkward. Not to take anything away from this toy though. It's brilliant engineering, especially the transforming part.
