I was thinking of merging the inactive forum sections to make things more manageable for everyone. Will be looking at the count of new posts in each forum section in last 6 months as a trend. Will post the section names here before merging.[DOUBLEPOST=1495621976][/DOUBLEPOST]So this is how the overall organization would be. The merged section will have thread prefixes to segregate the content from the original forums

Category 1: 8 Technology forums

Category 2: 2 Market Place forums

Category 3: 8 Social Lounge forums

Requesting you to revert back the Marketplace to the old one.
This one is cluttered.

Not to forget the first 10 threads are all pinned and already using up 1/3 of the page.
"Criteria for starting a new FS thread", "Guidelines on how to use the market section", "Section Rules and Regulations" aren't they similar? Cant they be merged into one single thread?

What changed in the market place? Its the same as it has been for the last two years at least.

There is no prefix for WTB. Put different font colors for FS and WTB threads. I cannot tell what I'm looking at.
Also if you are going to keep it like this, can you give us new filters? Overview filters (all threads) for FS and WTB on top of the current smaller product category filters "Filtered Topics." That way I can simply bookmark the filtered pages instead of scrolling down one page which have all FS and WTB threads.

There were hardly 19 WTB threads there so they didn't seem worth it. Will create that tag.

I am open to making changes which make it easier to use the forum. Will make the market tags separate colored.

Why did the Cars and Bike section get merged with General Talk section as a filter?

Under General Talk can we have a separate sub-section called sports? The F1 thread looks so out of place in General Talk...

Update. I tried to create a WTB thread but it won't get posted as i didn't enter the REQUIRED fields which btw are for FS threads like expected price, date of purchase, invoice etc :|

Is this even normal? if not can you remove this stupid requirement for WTB threads?

Yeah the Auto section shouldn't have been merged. Any possibility of mods taking feedback on this?
