Metro 2033 @ $5 worth it?

Metro 2033 available @ $5 at gamersgate. Is it worth it?
Also how is the performance on ATI 5770?
Will it be playable @ 1366*768 resolution?
And, is gamersgame a reliable site?
Also, the game can be purchased from Gamersgate and added to steam as per the forums.

I don't know about gamersgate but Metro 2033 is a pretty awesome game. And 5770 should be able to run it just fine.

Have you played the STALKER series? This is more or less similar minus the RPG elements. I loved the campaign.

The campaign isn't that good. But it's playable and I think it's worth it for $5.

My 5770 handled the game decently at 1440x900.

you can register Metro 2033 in steam as its a steamworks game.just activate it using the key that u get from gamergate.I got it at gamersgate aswell.

Probably not buying it though as it comes down to Metro2033 vs Portal 2 as of now..

It's one of the games that I played on the hardest difficulty...and boy was it tough. It got frustrating at times but in the end it was quite enjoyable and satisfying. The graphics are great, gameplay is "realistic", story is alright. For 5$ -totally worth it.
