Android Mi3 GPS not working after MIUI 18 update - any fix ?

Updated to v18 and seems GPS data needs to be reset after update...anyone has a fix for GPS on V18 or I need to factory reset the phone only after update?

My GPS doesnt seem to work.
What all i did..
Updated to v18 as soon as i switched on the phone…

After using for few hours after i found gps not working…

Went to recovery – Erase all data….Booted into rom installed playstore gapps..rooted phone…cleared gps.conf tried gps fix apps…no luck….

In google maps it still shows waiting for location and nothing happens…

Any suggestions.? I cleared data using recovery and not using Rom’s option of Backup & Reset.
Did i do something wrong?

Google maps didn't have any issue using GPS for location o V18 with me.

Got it working after rooting...clearing gps.conf using 3rd party app from playstore ....Resetting location of satellite to Asia India and working now
