Micromax A250 Canvas Turbo Sketch Reveals A 5" 1080 Display

Micromax has been teasing their upcoming smartphone A250 Canvas Turbo since sometime now and recently announced Hugh Jackman as their brand ambassador. Now we have some details about the upcoming phone through a leaked sketch.

The leaked sketch image which appears to be from service manual was tweeted by MMXNewscaster. It shows that the Canvas Turbo will have a 5 inch Full HD display and will have two Micro SIM slots on left side. The 3.5mm jack is shown on the bottom which is rather unusual placement. Volume rocker and power buttons are on right side. There is 5MP front facing camera also.

Another picture which was teased by Micromax on Facebook shows the back of the Canvas Turbo.



According to rumors, the smartphone will powered by same Mediatek MT6589 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor as the Canvas 4 with 1GB of RAM. A 13MP rear camera is expected to be there. All software enhancements such as Blow To Unlock will be obviously present.

I really hope it has more than 1 gigs of RAM. If not, the Gionee E6 still makes more sense if you're okay with single SIM.
 
^^ How can you say that ? According to specs Gionee E6 lacks important software enhancements like 'Blow to Unlock' and most importantly any endorsement from Hugh Jackman, :D

As soon as I get my micromax a110 back from the service centre for the second time in a year I'll throw my galaxy s3 and use my absolutely awesome a110 . :D:p Three cheers for the great mediatek Chinese oem micromax which is better than Nokia Samsung and apple says Hugh jackman .
 
Which chinese phone is this rebranded from ?
I am asking seriously as i want to check on aliexpress etc about the phone.
I am gathering information about chinese phones and see which i could use in future as a dedicated video player.

Yes, I have a thread open in buying advice section too. I watch videos daily while travelling for total 2+ hours and currently use my iPhone 4S but feel its screen is small for video. I can do with it but bigger screen would be better and would also not want to my iPhone's battery.

Pick some el cheapo tablet rather.
 
I do the same ie watch videos when I travel . Used the a110 for a year . But it failed on me twice . No do it with my s3 . As a110 is in service centre again . They said it will take atleast a month . Digitiser problem .

What's your budget? Take a look at the Spice Mi 525 FHD. It has a 5 inch 1080p screen and costs around 14k.
