Micromax Canvas HD Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Update Now Available

Micromax has released the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean update for its Canvas HD A116 as promised, which brings several enhancements and fixes.

The update brings better performance, faster GPS lock , semi-transparent notification panel , panorama mode in camera and few other enhancements.



The phone can be updated by taking the phone to Micromax service centers starting this week. However, the update now adds Over the air ( OTA) functionality in the phone, so future updates can be performed OTA and we can expect further updates including Jelly Bean 4.3 for the Canvas HD later.

What will i do for 2-3 hours while phone is being updated?

Wow this is stupid, go to service center to update the phone's OS ?
Can't they have some sort of kies type PC app ? Or probably they have some Chinese software to update the phones.
