Important: I bought this tablet out of curiosity when it first released, and was sufficiently impressed given its price, so decided to hold on to it as a backup. Months went by, and I barely used it, and in Feb I finally switched it on after months but it did not. So took it to the service centre, they told me they had to change the display which was for some reason not covered by warranty. I paid Rs. 3500 to get it fixed, and now I have got the tablet back. Except they screwed up and now the battery doesn't seem to work. As long as it is on charger it works perfectly, but it is as if the battery isn't connected. So after spending Rs. 14k on it in total, now I have lost interest and don't want to bother taking it to service centre again, so I am looking for someone to take this off my hands for a price where you have little to lose. Who knows, if you are lucky it is just a loose connection that can be fixed on the spot.
I have the box, invoice, all accessories, and I am throwing in a case (as seen in the pic, barely) for free. I have removed all bloatware and rooted it, works much smoother, but I can reset back to the stock state if you wish.
I am from Kolkata, willing to let it go for Rs. 5000 shipped to major cities.

i am interested... but could you please list the problems exactly once again. So that i dont find anything as surprise later.
 
Problem is simple. The tablet works fine with the charger plugged in. Take out the charger and it will power off. Basically the battery does not kick in, I suspect some loose connection inside or so. Hopefully a visit to Micromax service centre should fix it. Apart from that as far as I can tell it works as expected. I have hardly used it since though, so if there's any specific thing you would like me to check out, let me know.

Sending you a PM. But for general info, I don't know cost of repair. Since it is under warranty it should be zero. But it is Micromax, they have bizarre rules for what is and what is out of warranty, so I can't promise anything. That is why I am giving it up for a throwaway price. If you are lucky it is a small issue and they will fix it on a spot for no charge.
