Microsoft admits Vista failure

Being using Vista ultimate for 5 months or so,i prefer it to Xp cause i think it is more stable.the problem with xp was that after a while u always got some error or the other.the only problem i see with vista is that it is expensive and ur system hog. hey but once u hooked on vista there is no going back,love the look especially Dream scene
the only release of vista was so much eye candy was tiger os of mac.....jus to combat that they released vista.....
hope within 2 year they solve all the issues...
btw why ms doesnt give all this stuffs for cheap there would be no piracy.....if we get all stuffs cheap .also they wont waste that much money on protection......after all billu wont take all this billion dollars in his tomb...
someone say billu to start selling hardware in lamington road..he will earn more profit.....jus like muki of reliance doing a sahakari bhandar stuff

I know comparing a piece of software with a OS is a blunder...but heck..u shd still set your priorities first..
The biggest downfall for vista is the lack of drivers / lack of development of drivers for older hardware..hehe

Personally, I think Microsoft would be smart to base their next gen OS off of Linux. It would create far less compatibility issues, and would likely be far more secure. Unfortunately, MS is not likely to do this, because they would not have the ability to control open source.. and we all know how MS likes to make money and control their own market.

What is so crappy about Windows XP ?
I have 3 genuine Windows Xp Home Edition PCs running in my home and they work like a charm even though the PCs are rather slow with just 512 MB shared ram. They have hung up just once (one did).
Also when I pay just 3500 for a copy, why would I pay 20000 for Vista just to have a PC that looks good but runs slow as hell because of Microsofts DRM software constantly monitoring my PC to tell me what I can and cannot install because Microsoft feels I shouldnt install ?

just if you change vista to performance mode & turn off the sidebar while gaming, benching, ram intensive stuff or on low end rigs its perfect

Apart from booting up..everything else can be fixed..lol..looks ugly eh? .. OK..if u say so..i bet when xp was released u would have said xp looks gr8 & win 98 looks ugly(which was the truth :rofl: )
Crashes & hangs are dependent on your apps & hardware . . . :bleh:

Vista rocks.. but the only problem i get is BSOD on boot when i apply all the updates.. game performance is slightly low though
