Microsoft announces 10.6 inch Surface Tablet
At a Microsoft event in Los Angeles, MS has just announced its first this generation tablet called the Surface. The screen is a 10.6 inch which is covered by Gorilla Glass. A unique feature of this tablet is that it also comes with an inbuilt kickstand.
The Surface Tablet just measures in at 9.3 mm and its is equipped with a Full USB 2.0 port. A microSD card slot is included as well to expand the storage. The new tablet from microsoft is also encased in a magnesium case with a PVD finish. Liquid metal also ensures that the weight of the tablet remains fairly light at 1.5 pounds. 32 and 64 GB models will both be available. The Slate also doubles up as a full multitouch tablet.
