Which version of DirectX should I use? I have Windows Ultimate 32bit OS on my desktop PC. I dont have a graphic card. The provision of configuring which version to use via running the Windows Update isn't working as it is not taking Updates. Help!

Just keep automatic updates on your pc and directx will update itself.

@booo - The option of 'Turn on automatic updates' isnt getting activated in the windows update section, thats the issue.

then you can just download directx installer and run. the installer is designed to update to the latest version automatically. it will take care of versions.
