Microsoft Prepares Web Design and Graphics App

Microsoft will release its first suite of Web and graphic design software in the middle of next year, putting it in direct competition with Adobe Systems.

The software suite, Expression Studio, comprises four components and will sell for a combined price of $599. It had been scheduled for release by the end of this year with just three applications but now includes iView Media Pro photo management software acquired by Microsoft in June.

the legendary kirupa from kirupa.com - Shocked Resource for Making Designers better Developers! who has been infamous for his flash programming skills ,is studying in MIT now and was expected by many to be recruited by Adobe ,just got recruited by Microsoft to join the Expression Team.

They did it to Borland (by hiring most borland 's lead programmer to design visual studio ), they could very well do it again ; )
