PC Peripherals Microsoft Wireless mouse - RMA?

Hi All..

I have a MS wireless mouse around 6 months old. It fell down from my bed yest night.

Now its not working. The blue light in mouse lights up and all.. but the mouse pointer is not moving.

What to do? Is there any RMA for this?

I bought it from infibeam.com

Any help appreciated.

Approach the service center with a copy of the bill and they should replace it for you provided there are no signs of hardware damage.

Bangalore and Cochin would be the nearest locations. Give them a ring and find out if they can accept the defective unit for replacement via courier. Maybe as a goodwill they can ship the replacement back free of charge. At least that is how most RMA requests work - I replaced my Razer DA this way a week back from Tirupati, Kolkata.

I have very very good experience with MS service center here in Mumbai @ Lemington Road. Just call your city representative.

What was his response? You can also write to MS regarding the response given and they should help you out.

I had a good experience with the service center here at Surat - twice! The first instance was when my MS IE 3.0 started showing signs of usage when a single click registers as a double click, called him up and explained the situation over the phone and he wanted me to bring the unit to his place. Took it the same day evening promptly and he said he will replace it but only after the replacement unit arrives since he didn't have the stocks. I decided not to wait and sold it on the forums. The second instance was when my roomie's X360 controller vibration wasn't working. It was replaced after a week's time. Pretty decent I'd say.
