Ok so I opened my microwave door and was greeted by this (check pics).
I have absolutely no idea how this happened. Used in morning and everything was fine. There was no sound or anything (or I did not hear) while this happened.
The middle metal spoke type which rotates the glass dish seems burned. The glass is also damaged at the same place.
Is this thing even repairable ?

Busted, in the sense got bad somehow.
Not Bursted because I have no idea what and how this happened.[DOUBLEPOST=1389025252][/DOUBLEPOST]Is there any chance this might have happened due to usage of a non-microwavable container ? Like stainless steel vessels or something ?
I strongly feel this may be the cause.

Yah! no metal should be used in microwave if you have used one then it is the reason for sure.[DOUBLEPOST=1389026783][/DOUBLEPOST]Magnetron is still Safe???

Looks like the turntable hub is gone. Repairs should be possible.

Ask the service guy for a quote; else there is a possibility of you spending more than the cost of a new microwave!

Yes i will ask the repair guy total cost to repair first and then only go ahead. And yes turntable hub or whatever it is which makes the glass plate rotate is gone.
