Microwave Oven Problem

Hi, I recently bought Samsung GW731KD-S 20Ltr Grill Microwave Oven from letsbuy. I used it for the 1st time today and the oven started to emit smoke and burning smell. As per instructions I heated water for few minutes and there was no problem. But, then we tried to make pizza and the oven started emitting smoke and foul smell from top part of the oven just next to the front door.

Can I get a replacement from Letsbuy or do I have to give it to Samsung for repair ?

did you not get a demo from a samsung technican? He should have noticed the problem if there was any.

If you contact Samsung, they will try to fix the issue or replace with another one which may not be new.

If you contact Letsbuy, you may get a new replacement if the delivery date is in the near past.

Contact Letsbuy first and Samsung later. Do not delay too much if contacting Samsung though. You can probably call them both and choose the best option available.

i too have a samsung 28 litre model,1 year old.when i use the grill,it kinda smells,no smoke/foul smell though.

a friend who bought the same model along with me had the issue of smoke.his problem was the grill coils had shorted and burnt.

Okay, I called up Samsung. They said it is a small problem so it'll be fixed by their technician by today and replacement is not necessary.

I had ordered the oven on 12th and received it on 19th so, should I go for the replacement or repair ?

No, I didn't use the grill option and the smell is not food burning smell but electric burn smell. It is brand new oven, unpacked it and used it for the 1st time yesterday.
