Hi, need to buy a new microwave oven, dont require anything fancy, and expensive. Samsung guys have an offer at workplace, have attached the pricelist. Do you guys recommend any other company/model, with better VFM?

My IFB 30L convection model costed me much less than what the Samsung guyz are offering....though I am not sure of the complete list of spec....

get an IFB microwave

no frills, does the job perfectly!!

IFB warranty is handled by samsung only i guess!!

I guess the cheapest is solo, so I would go for the same. Usage is typically heating up stuff, for eg. when's mom's not there can just heat up dinner/lunch. And yeah pop-corns

I can vouch for LG as I own one.

It sports a simple design, is easy to use and does the job pretty well !

we are using IFB 20sc2 from a year now (this got both conventional+grill)..No pblms at all.service is good.Got feather touch control panel, got for 5.5k at that time. I think this model still exits.But looks are bit low side i can say.But at the end of the day u need performance rather than looks

Convection is overrated in a Microwave, totally useless. Go for a normal MW and be happy

I have a 3 in 1(microwave, grill, convection) Samsung microwave in steel finish and bio-ceramic coating on the inside. The ceramic coating on the inside gives a classy stone finish and makes it much easier to clean than steel or plastic(which gets coloured with prolonged use).

LG used to have models with ceramic coating and their heat distribution is much better than Samsung IMO(I have seen heat distribution problems with two Samsung models) but I did not find any when I recently checked.

If you are looking for solo models, I don't think you can get one with a ceramic finish inside as this is reserved for the higher end models but just in case, you can look for one with ceramic coating on the inside.

I bought a LG wavedome 23 lts microwave last month and it has stopped working yesterday. i hope will get speedy after sales service and their quality control is in place.
