-AMD Alternative -X4-955 BE @ 8k + GA 785GMT @5k - Then you could cram in The UPS and a better PSU
-You could also get a HD5850 from sapphire/MSi 5850 at a good 14k pricepoint.
- Aftermarket cooler - CM Hyper+ @ 1.8k will do a cool job..
-Any reasons on why not AMD based rig ?

Hope that helped

I would suggest few minor changes to l33t's config

The XMS3 4GB Kit costs ~4.4k now. So i would suggest the MSI Cyclone 1GB GDDR5 ~ 13k.

Also for the Mobo u can consider the Gigabyte P55M-UD2/Asus Asus P7H55D-M PRO ~ 6.3k and invest in a better PSU like the Corsair VX550 ~ 4.7k and a better speakers like the AL VS2621 ~ 1.6k

Edit: For monitor the Samsung B2230 ~ 8.1k is a good alternative at the 8k price point.

 Dont call me Sir.

Price dipped recently.(10-15 days may be)

Prime has listed it for ~4.5k in their site and a dealer is selling it for Rs.4375 in Ero dov forum.

The MSI mobo is a good one if one is considering SLI. Else its better to go for a mid range mobo in the 6.5k range and invest in better PSU in his budget range. He isnt even gonna OC his proccy. The Giga P55 is a good one at that price point.

Will give preference to the G.Skill RipJaws have a better heat sink design and in my case haven't heard a squeak since setup, rock solid performers on the other hand a friend of mine who bought an i5 760 and Gigabyte GA P55 UD2 + Corsair XMS 3 RAM sticks had an issue, now has shifted to the Transcend JetRAM series due to frustration. Hope this adds some insight :)

Since you will be buying a good graphics cards anyways, get a ATX mobo without onboard graphics

i5 760

ASUS P7P55D-E LX

2x2GB DDR3 1600Mhz

GTX460 1GB

1TB Seagte 7200.12

Corsair VX550

NZXT Gamma/CM Elite 430

23/24" LCD monitor

Buy msi hawk talon attack 14k
monitor go for 24inch dont even think anything below. When ur payin 8k for 22 paying 2k more wont be difficult. .
Buy 750 w psu if ur serious about ocing n sliing in few months or else 550w wil be good enough . . More watt psu means more power consumption. . Current bill wil fly over the roof top. .
Speakers buy creative 5.1channel inspire one:) best investments for life. .

Bro more Watt PSU does not mean more power consumption, power consumption depends on load off the SMPS and its efficiency, if system load is 300 W and output of say my Real Power Pro 460 W is 384W under such circumstances, it does not mean the comp will suck in the extra Power, the components do not want to voluntarily fry themselves

Switched-mode power supply - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia this wiki page should explain in detail what I just wrote, and if the OP is going to majorly game, recommended he goes in for a 2.1 setup as the extra channels in 5.1 are not adequately utilized until the sound solution on board and software used in games ( Creative X-Fi, Dolby Digital ) are actively backed with a decent sound card Creative Audigy, Soundblaster or ASUS Xonar

None of the LGA-1156 mobos have IGP. The H-55 and H-57 just allow u to make use of the graphics core in the i-3 and i-5 dual cores (i-3 5xx and i-5 6xx). U can use it with i-5 760 and even i-7 870.

As of now u have around 12.5k for GPU. Just extend budget a little and squeeze in a MSI Cyclone 1GB GDDR5 GTX460 ~ 13k

But i would suggest that u wait for few days as the the HD6850 and the HD6870 will be released in the 10k-15k price points and u may have price cuts

Monitor Samsung B2030~Rs8100

DA Means - Samsung B2230 - Not 2030 Typo. - Over all pretty balanced config - I somehow tend to lean more towards Corsair RAM / PSU - exceptional quality + ASS

@OP - You could cut a few corners at the monitor - Getting a BenQ and a VX450 will fetch you a Dragonlord PC-K56-W / NZXT Tempest Evo / CM 690II Advanced / NZXT M59 or others in that price range - 430 has very sloppy airflow inside the case.

A 5.1 channel can also be used as 2.1 if m not wrong. . 5.1 is always good for watching movies n playing songs.. Once u buy 2.1 u cant upgrade the same to 5.1 unless u sell 2.1 [again no resale values] but viceversa is possible.. Buy a sound card later. .
