Hey guys,

Need some help in migration from Thunderbird 9.1 to Outlook 2010.

I need all my mails / attachments / sub-folders intact.

Google is throwing up few alternatives but I am not sure which one is most efficient.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks,

how much data you have ?

If it is manually manageable, this is what I did:

created an imap account

moved /dropped folders and emails from thunderbird to imap account

closed thunderbird.

opened outlook configured it to use imap account

dragged and dropped folders back to personal /local folders.

later changed outlook account settings to pop3 /smtp

for me data was only around 2GB, with around 50 folders, imap server was local, so everything was completed within an hour.

by the way, am using thunderbird only now.

Approx 7 GB of mails... Some 25 Folders along with few nested ones..! A lot I mean a lott of mails...!!

Any other alternative ?

you can drag and drop folders with above method, I found it real easy.

used some tools, but they were pain to deal with, will update about the tools, need to search for them on my pc.
