i was trying migration ... sticked to BSOD,s many times ... and then read ...
Migrate_Windows - VirtualBox
Now as this doc says ... that it uses ACPI HAL without IO-APIC ( halacpi.dll ) ... unlike...which most of the modern pc,s and including VMware uses - ACPI HAL with IO-APIC ( halaacpi.dll ) ... so ... i just ... so i found a simplier way to Migrate ... which is ...
JUST Enable IO-APIC on the Targetted Virtual Box System ... and move on ... :hap2:
So ... no fiddling ... with HAL ... as now we wud use the same HAL in VirtualBOX which VMWare Uses ... as far Storage Controller ... Both uses the Same ... Intel 82371AB/EB ... so no counterpart on that ...
Some might me unable to boot due to BSOD error's relating too
processr.sys or intelppm.sys or agp440.sys ... for which we just we need to disable these Drivers at system startup ... for which we cud use any RegEditor ... i used ERD Commander ...
Now can sumone can explain ...IO-APIC ... plj plz please ....:ashamed:
