CPU/Mobo Mini ITX Motherboard 1080p and beyond.

Folks,

Can someone suggest minitx motherboard that can do 1080p? Or the one that can take take a graphics card? Purely for entertainment and if possible I would like to use it for 3D as well (if needed can add in a card).

AFAIK, there are zotac boards based on AMD Llano platform which can easily do 1080p + light 3D gaming. Or do you want one with a Intel proccy onboard?
 
In india, the only itx boards you get are the ones based on AMD E350 aka zacate. Nothing else is available. Zacate will do 1080p but only just. It does not decode the hi 10p profile correctly and if you find 720p/1080p content that can't be decoded by the onboard gpu, you are stuck.
 
The DN2800MT does 1080p just fine (not sure about beyond).

All is not well though. Flash support and Aero support suck (don't use the latter). It's terrible as a general purpose machine - has no business being one, but as a sub-15W HD video playback system, it's currently unmatched.

Drivers should be released as per Intel's schedule, which is probably not until the board is EOL and they are not obliged to provide support for it. I run mine on W7 32-bit, the only OS for which Intel has a driver.

My application is a media player/squeezebox replacement that is flexible and upgradeable by just changing software applications. For that specific application, it really rocks. Low enough power consumption to run off a hard disk or router's power brick.
 
As I said - the only boards you'll get with a PCI-e slot are the fusion boards. However they have a PCI-E x4 slot not x16. Plus they don't seem to gain anything with an external graphic card.

If you want choice, your only option is to import. The best bang for the buck board right now is the Asus P8H77-I.

It costs roughly 110$ and has everything including the kitchen sink in a small form factor. Put an i3 or an i5 chip and you are good to go.
 
^^Both are out of stock and flipkart can't source them. As a matter of fact, before I bought my P8H77-I here in the US, I actually placed an order with flipkart for the gigabyte board you linked to. They sat on my money for 2 weeks after which they refunded it back.
 
since it is listed in flipkart, thought these are available locally.
links to flipkart was just for reference only, mostly you can find it for better price somewhere else.
 
Go for ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE, This is a great MOBO, though Over Priced. ASRock Z77E-ITX Can do the same stuff for as low as 10-11K.
I would prefer an ASUS P8H77-i as it has 6 Sata Ports (2-3G, 4-6G). You can source it from ICC World for as low as 7-8K. Put an ivy bridge 2xxx on it and you are good to go. For Case, i would suggest you to go either for the new CM Elite 361 or wait in till CM Elite 120 or BitFenix Prodigy is available. You can also source a Silverstone Sugo with PSU for about 6K.

Currently I am using a H67 USB3 from Gigabyte with a Sandy Bridge 2100 in Lian-Li PC-Q25B and I am using this most of the time.
I searched for a 1080p rig and tried the MSI Fusion E-350 & the new Intel 2700, however both are simply pathetic on a 1080p resolution. Not even worth as an internet browser machine as Flash Sites feel jerky (Use Only As NAS or Downloader).

Power Comparison reveals that E350 Rig is only 9-11 Watt Less then my Sandy Bridge Rig when idle.
