PC Peripherals Minimum PSU for SLI/xFire?

I have a 8800GTS 640mb under RMA, am hoping to get a GTX 260 as a replacement (fingers crossed!) .. if that happens I'll mostly sell off my 4870 and get a second 260 for SLI. I have a 600W FSP Epsilon 80+ psu (OCZ's & OEM supplier) it looks like a quad rail 18a psu. Will this be enough or should I upgrade this also incase I go ahead with sli or crossfire? Specs in my sig.

How many 1.5TB Hard drives?
I think you're on the bare minimum for a GTX 260 SLI, you should still be okay for a while atleast....

It's not a single 1.5TB, it's 500gb+1TB actually so two HDD's. Plus I'll be adding two fans & replacing my CPU cooler so my power requirements will change a bit, not sure if this 600W is enough. BTW not heavily overclocking my cpu. Max I'll push it to 3.6ghz as beyond that gains are minimal.

umm the tx 750 or tx 850 from corsair are very good..

also the CM real power and UCP series are getting good reviews too.

im sure our resident psu expert sir bikey will elaborate further :)

cheers bro...

Lolz there have been a lot of new PSU threads lately, I'm sure most of the users browsing the peripherals forum have become experts by now :p :eek:hyeah:

So that means my 600w isn't enough for SLI/xFire? Gee .. possibly another piece of hardware going to my bro or aging AMD system!

I'd prefer the corsair as it's also available in Dubai so potential servicing shouldn't be a problem. How much is the TX750 for anyway? I doubt I'll be needing more than that!
