HD2 s have a lot of problem with the touchscreen (in fact it seems that HTC phones in general have a problem with touchscreen - my HD2 and two of my frien's Wildfire got the problem). I bought one and burned my fingers, so wouldn't advise it.

BTW what's special about MIUI? Why not CM7?

I'm looking to spend about 3-4k.

I want a bigger screen and also am impressed by the customization on MIUI.

Looking at a captivate or defy for now.

The HD2 suffers from a poor hardware decision. The flex cable that connects the screen+digitizer lies exactly under the home/end key which means if you press that key too hard, you will spoil the cablet and in turn the screen which is expensive and difficult to repair.
