Mobi Apps for Nokia 5233!

Guys I need a reliable source to download apps for 5233, its a smartphone, so i guess there should be quite some apps for it......i tried searching ipt didnt find anything!

From Where should i download themes, apps etc for Nokia 5233 ? Any idea ?

I dont know whether its allowed to post software related content in this section......if not PLZ delete this thread!

Search the internet for software for Symbian OS, especially S60, especially v5.

Once you find the software, search for its compatibility with 5233 specifically. More likely than not, any software for S60 v5 will be compatible with 5233.

Prefer open-source apps, but there are plenty of non-open source free apps as well as for-pay good apps for S60.

Since Nokia has ported python to S60 and open-sourced it, there is a great free-app market for S60. What kind of app specifically are you looking for?

I m basically lookin for themes...and apps like Scientific calculator.

Also i want download some games too which will work on full screen!

Also can i install codecs on my set so that i can play a variety of video files ?

No idea about themes. I have heard of different video players being available for S60, but no details.

Scientific calculator: You might find one. But if you even know elementary programming, Python would serve as an incredible quick calculator. It is provided by Nokia itself - see Installing PyS60 - OpenSource

x**y, tan, sin, log, cos, acos, atan etc. are inbuilt so can be done on the interactive shell in one line. Sure, things like integration etc. would need extra python modules which might be hard to find / develop yourself.

there are many sites for the same. just google s60V5. Cant really discuss about the games availability as i think most of them are pirated and hence free to download. U ll find plenty of themes, games and many other stuff too.
