Mobile between 1.5 to 2k budget

Hi All,

I need to buy a mobile as a gift for my mother, i have a budget of 1.5 to 2k. Suggest me a good mobile with good battery backup, and good display.

Will be buying the mobile this weekend.

I already have a Samsung Guru B200 with my father and B210 with my cousin. So would be looking to have a different model other than these two.

What features do u need?

Samsung E1160 ~ 1.65k is a decent phone with stereo speakers and hands free FM Radio and a 1.52" display.

Also the Samsung E1390 ~ 1.85k+VAT has a microSD slot(upto 2GB microSD) and music keys. Check that out too.

Is there any good one in Nokia or Sony Ericsson.

Just saw Nokia 5030 is under 2k, in mobilestore (Rs 1,669) and univercell (Rs 1,625) websites

How are MicroMax or Karbonn mobiles.

Hi,

Recently I had purchased the Nokia 1662 for my dad for Rs.1,600/-

Its a basic phone with a very good bright and big display, all other phone features are basic with FM. One thing I noted is the low volume of the ringer, apart from that no issues.
