Hi guys,

I have seen some TATA Indicom broadband ads... With the USB wireless modem...

Are there any such schemes for unlimited downloading, good speed (128+) at reasonable prices?

Which all providers are there for such services? What are the charges?

And do these modems and such connections work with Ubuntu? I will be using Hardy Heron 64-bit as my primary OS. Will such connections work with that OS?

Please reply....
Thanks in advance.

have you tried searching google/ubuntuforums.org for this? the forums are not opening for me at the moment... im sure it will work...

also look at ubuntu-in.org website... even that is not opening for me atm :(

Well I don't think that will work in Ubuntu , some guy has posted an article on Hot to Tata Plug to surf in Ubuntu.. Try Mandriva 2008.1 spring.. It has great GUI tool for setting up modems and all :) Check my sig for review :)
