Mobile for 12K

I see lot of pple have suggested k750i.....One of my friends had gone out to buy that but he did not get it in any shop.....Alll the shopkeeprs were saying that its not in stock and that the factory dealer would remain closed for diwali...He did not get the phone even afetr all the holidays.....

He had to go for a w700....

Is k750i out of production....?
