So I use Google navigation a lot and i don't have a dedicated GPS unit. Tired of keeping the phone in lap or in the instrument console. Need a windshield dock for my phones, A universal one.

Need to fit Nexus 4, Galaxy Nexus, Lenovo A820 and most prolly a Note 3. Will be nice if I can fit them with their cases itself. So looking for a universal dock. Its a pain to remove the Galaxy nexus otter box case.

Suggestions?

I am currently using an iOttie Easy One Touch universal dock (http://www.amazon.com/iOttie-HLCRIO102-Windshield-Dashboard-Universal/dp/B007FHX9OK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386275636&sr=8-1&keywords=iottie one touch) with my Nexus 5 and was using it with the Galaxy Nexus earlier. This dock makes it very easy to mount and remove the phone using one hand. There's an XL version of it as well which fits bigger phones like the Note 2/Note 3 and GPS devices. It doesn't come along with a car charger or micro usb cable so you'll have to use your own.

Another one I came across when looking for a car dock myself was the iBolt xProDock (http://www.amazon.com/xProDock-Sony-Nexus-Nokia-Smartphones/dp/B00C09XIBC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1386275765&sr=8-2&keywords=ibolt nexus). Needs two hands to mount the phone and also comes with a charging cable attached to it, which just hangs off the side. Only comes with a USB cable which needs to be plugged into a car charger or USB port.

Also have a look at the Kenu Airframe and Mountek nGroove if you want to explore alternative mounting options.

Yup. Using it with the Nexus 5 in a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case. Check the dimensions of your phone with the case on and then check the max width supported by the dock in the Amazon URL. If in doubt, go for the XL, it should support all phones with or without the case.
