CPU/Mobo Mobo Problem and How to RMA intel MOBO?

Hi,
My friend has Intel 945GCNL which I think we might need to send for RMA.
Mobo is in Thane, Mumbai. plz tell me whom to contact.

Problem:
boot failure.
His hdd with win XP gives BSOD "unmountable boot volume" but boots up fine when installed in my system ( see my config as sign).
Same case with safe mode too.

Even Hiren's BOOt CD gives error with some file called " PCI.sys"
same thing happens even if HDD is disconnected and only DVD-rw is connected.

When we tried to repair the XP using setup CD, the setup does not detects the installed XP in C and urges to format C drive. We just wanted to try everything b4 formating C. no imp data though

RAM, CPU working fine.
We tried setting BIOS to default by removing the battery but no use.

what else should we try b4 calling INTEL?

There is a service center of Intel Located in Dadar you may take it there.

First Call them and register a complaint and ask them for the address in Dadar and i guess they shld be able to help u with the same

Try repairing the bios ..here is the file i attached for u(which Intel Customer Support provided) ..u know wht one of my frnd got restarting pblms with 945gcnl ...got replacement with new one after 4-5 days struggle with intel CC in bangalore

go to the above link and download NL0005.BIO ..copy it to USB, boot pc without the jumer mentioned in the PDF ...
