There are swap magic discs available. Not sure if they are available in India.

Swap discs work like this:

You need to boot the PS2 using the given swap magic disc and then put in ur "ahem" PS2 game.

Google for it, u'll find plenty of info.

There is a new method thats been announced. It works through a memory card. A PS2 will boot using the firmware on the memory card they sell you.

It sould come to the market soon I guess.

The only solution now is swap magic, which isn't an option if you're in India as ebay/amazon don't have them and there are hardly any good mod chip sites that sell swap magic that ship to India. Besides, mod chip > swap magic as it will get tiring inserting a boost disk everytime for any back up game.

So mod-chip it or just play originals
