Guys i need ur help ! ! ! ! I want to mod my cabinate & this is the first time i'm going to be doing that! ! ! ! So can u give me some advise ! ! ! !
& i want to cut the steel, so can u tell me how to do that ! ! !

Pl post the name of the cabinet u've; what type of mod do u intend to do on it [for better cooling or eye-candy or both]; the budget u've set apart for the modding [materials & tools];

There 2 cabbies I have which i want to mod!!!
1st is Zebronics Peace. I just want to cut a window in that & make it look better.
The 2nd 1 is a local cabbinate. This i want to mod completely from its looks to cooling as its a closed cabinate & too less airflow & also an eyesore.
I'll soon post pics. My budget is min amt needed. How much u think acrylic sheet cost???
 
acrylic sheets cost arnd 100 buxx for 10x10 inches.....cmes in 2mm 4 mm thickness....4mm wud be betta....
post pics of the 'cabinet' n then gurus will help u...
 
Well for a simple window mod.... 2 options

1) KMD will do it for u
2) DIY :eek:hyeah:

for DIY
supplies u need
1)3M tape --- source KMD or h/w stores (difficult to find)
2) Acrylic sheet ---- Acrylic stores

Doing it Options for acrylic---
1)Get the sheet cut by glass cutter
2) DIY :eek:hyeah:

for DIY
use a marker to outline and cut the acrylic.
get a acrylic cutter for 300-400 bucks

Options for cutting a window in side panel
1) Get it done by a metal cutter (advisible) :eek:hyeah:
2)DIY

for DIY u need
Jigsaw, or hole saw with a drill and gradually increase the size and makes lots of holes and make the window....

Entire Process
1) Cut the window
2) Put u channel to avaoid cutting ur fingers
3) Cut the acrylic according to the window size
4) Put 3m tape on the edges
5) Fix the acrylic (hope its a fancy looking sheet)

All done :hap2:

Added bling
1) On the inside fix white Leds not visible outside...(edges of the window)
2) Fix it to the PSU supply with a resistance of 1k ohms in series....
3) fire it up

All done glowing side window.....

geez... i typed this so fast tht it will have lots of typos...take care of it
