Modem + Router

My friend is getting a new BSNL connection, and is looking to get a wireless router which will also serve as an ADSL modem. As in, the wire for connection to the internet should go directly inside it and once configured it can be kept in the living room without any PC attached to it.

Can someone tell me how much would this cost, I got a price of some Belkin G-series for 2900 I think it's a bit too expensive any cheaper alternative.

Please try to specify the price with the model number, will be getting it tomorrow.

Linksys WAG series will do the job ... they r called gateways

These are really expensive, the range starts from 3k it seems that also for an iBall one.

Sorry for hijacking the thread ,even i am looking for a ADSL2+ modem cum router.I am looking at a good range one.Budget is 3K.
