I didn't know of this till a friend told me about "MUDRA banks giving business loans". That's what i saw when i looked up.
I'm gonna go check with SBI and other banks when i can (SBI tomorrow). Anyone got any other info on this?
And please bhakts (did i get that right?) dont blame it on the RBI. The Prime Minister started it. He should've seen it through.
We just had a ban on beef in some states (even now the BJP is putting it in one of its main agendas for the Bihar election). So what's it gonna be next?
And oh if you were wondering, this is one of the many reasons why the BJP doesn't come to power in the North-East India. Suck it!

SBI doesn't have it. Nope. I was told to not even bother about it saying it will be a waste of time and energy. There's also something about the PM/govt and the RBI but that however is not clear, i dont know what it really is about. Apparently the scheme has not even been implemented yet. Just one of the many unfulfilled dreams promised by the PM. Lulz. Glad that I did not keep my hopes up.

It was supposed to be provided by all banks but the RBI hasn't forwarded this scheme. I dunno why, maybe the scheme is stupid and full of loopholes. I mean 1% interest is too good to be true.
I don't think there's any security. Thats why it was all hyped.
But sadly nothing good happened out of it in the end.
Similar thing happened with his new Insurance scheme. I asked many banks before i applied for it and they all told me it was just for show (aka votes-whoring) and that it will be unbelievable if banks actually follow it. The insurance value reached lakhs of rupees whereas the fees were just a few rupees. I only applied for it because my father kept pestering me about it, not because i thought it would be any good.
