Monitors monitor screwed up!

My Samsung 19inch widescreen monitor started acting strange.....i was shocked to see that the upper half of the display becomes really faint and i can barely notice anything .......please help.

sorry for the bad picture quality...u can see that a part of the display is all messed up...

But, it becomes normal after a while....weird....

well us ure it monitor dou hav a graph card.. reinstall nvidia drivers and check..

yeah i have an xfx 8600GT ...i also thought of that but didn't try it...will do right away and let you know if it happens again..

updated to latest drivers....same problem...top part of display is messed up....i'm sure it's the monitor....please help...

I think your monitor has died. Call Samsung and get it replaced/repaired.

same thing happened with my lappy monitor it used to work when i put some pressure on the sides but gradually it died
